STRONG -- Georgiana Hollingworth Strong, 84, passed away peacefully at home in Albuquerque on December 10, 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cdr (ret) George Trowbridge Strong. She was born September 20, 1920 in Portland, Oregon, and moved with her family to New Mexico more than 50 years ago. She returned to Albuquerque last year after living for several years in Yuma, Arizona. She is survived by her three children, Ruth Strong Marciano of Albuquerque, Mary Caroline Myslivy of Fairfax, Virginia, David George Strong of Millersville, Maryland, and their spouses; 16 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place and she will be interred at Santa Fe National Cemetery near her husband and her parents, Wilford D. and Ruth M. Hollingworth. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made either to the TVI Foundation Hollingworth Scholarship, 525 Buena Vista SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87105 or a Shrine Children's Hospital.
