SABINE -- George E. Sabine, 84, died Wednesday, December 8, 2004. He was born Tuesday, July 20, 1920 in Wichita, KS to Theodore and Gertrude Sabine and lived in Jacksonville, FL most of his life. George is survived by Mary, his wife of 57 years; son R. Travis Sabine and wife, Myra; daughter, Linda Schlosser and husband, Paul; three granddaughters, Leah, Kim and Carolyn; one grandson, Joseph; one great-grandson, Nathan; and sister-in-law, Betty Sabine. He retired after 23 years in the Air Force, flying multi-engine aircraft. The family expresses their gratitude to the staff of Camino Vista for their loving care. Services will be held on Saturday, 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to Noon.
