PITTARD -- Gertrude L. Pittard, 89, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Louraine Wilborn and husband, Gene of Denton, TX; son, Donald A. Pittard and his wife, Roxanne of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Sean, Stephanie, Leslie, Amy and Lynn; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Nola Baltzley of Albuquerque and Ruth McQueary of Raton, NM; and several nieces and nephews. Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Charles G. Pittard in February 1992. She earned bachelor and master degree's from the University of New Mexico and retired from Albuquerque Public Schools. Gertrude had memberships in several professional organizations and was a member of the University Church of Christ. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Wednesday, 1:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel with Mr. Albert Martin officiating. Interment of cremains will be at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
