BISCHEL -- Peter Bischel, 44, a resident of Albuquerque died on Sunday, November 21, 2004. Peter has spent the last 21 years in nursing homes after a tragic incident that left him a quadriplegic. His indomitable spirit, his courageous dignity, and his joyful soul have been a constant inspiration to his family members and the wonderful people that cared for him. He has taught us all so much about how to embrace life. He will be sorely missed but we know he is bound for a much greater place. Peter is survived by his parents, Ann and Otto Bischel; his sister, Meg Stearns; and his brothers, Matt and Andy Bischel and their families: Stan, Andrew, Joe, and Dan Stearns; Mary Jo and Ben Bischel; Shannon, Sean, and Ian Bischel.
