SALAZAR -- Viola Salazar went to walk on the streets of gold with the Lord on Monday, November 15, 2004 at 1:05 pm after a short illness. She was a born again christian for thirty-five years. She was preceded in death by her son, Clyde Salazar. She is survived by three children: daughter, Angie Ortega and husband, Henry; sons, Phillip Salazar and Ed Saavedra. Her grandchildren are Jacob Baca, Delilah Ortega, Salvador Gonzales, and Olivia Ortega. Viola is survived by two sisters, Pauline Lovato, Dorie Nuanez and husband, Johnny; and a brother, Ruby Margie Garcia and wife, Rita. She also has several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by many. A Memorial Celebration will be held at Legacy Church, Thursday, November 18, 2004 at 1:00 pm. The church is located at 7201 Central Avenue NW, Albuquerque, NM 87121.
