BURKE -- Robert J. Burke, 56, a resident of Albuquerque since 1982, died on November 4, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Irene Burke of Albuquerque; two sons, Anthony Burke and wife, Kati of Edwards AFB, CA and Daniel Burke of Albuquerque; one granddaughter, Sarah Burke of Edwards AFB, CA; one brother, Chris Burke of Wisconsin and one sister, Nadine Burke of Chicago, IL. After graduating from high school, Robert joined the Air Force and met his wife while stationed in England. Robert was a member of NAIFA and was owner and operator of United Southwest Agency. He was very respected in the insurance industry. Robert was involved with the Special Olympics for many years, where he also involved his family. He loved spending time customizing and modifying his cars. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd. NW with Father John Conway, celebrant. Interment of cremains will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ALS Association New Mexico Chapter, P.O.
