WILLIAMS -- Walter C. Williams passed away October 24, 2004. Born in Tipton, IN on Febuary 25, 1930, he is survived by his wife of 49 years, Virginia; son, Scott (Talaine); daughter, Sara Fordice (Mark) and six grandchildren, Brianna and Julian Fordice; Gabrielle, Francesca, Olivia, Meredith Williams; and three sisters, Phyllis Graham of Tipton, IN, Elizabeth Williams and Wilda Peters of St. Petersburg, FL. He was preceded in death by his son, Stacey. Walter retired from the Air Force. He was a member of Randolph Lodge #1268 in Schertz, TX. Walt joined the Scottish Rite and the Shrine in Manila, Phillipines. He was elected Potentate of Ballut Abyad Shrine in 1994. He was also Past Captain of the Greeters and a member of the Jesters. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 5 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ballut Abyad Shrine Center, 6600 Zuni SE. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ballut Abyad Perpetual Fund in Walter's name.
