ULIBARRI -- Florentino Ulibarri, 83, a beloved husband and father, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Grace; sons, Ernest Ulibarri and wife, Julia of Fairfax, VA; and two grandsons, Matthew Ulibarri and Zachary Ulibarri. Mr. Ulibarri was from Las Vegas, NM, where he met his loving bride. The war took him away to the Pacific when he served in the China-Burma-India Theater. He raised his family in Los Alamos and retired to Albuquerque in 1985. Mr. Ulibarri was a skilled hunter and fisherman, and later in life enjoyed golf. All of us will miss his hearty laugh and cunning sense of humor. Memorial Rosary will be recited Friday, October 1, 2004, 6:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Deacon Terry Palmer reciting. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, October 2, 2004, 9:00 a.m., at The Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE, with Father Norbert Choong, Celebrant.
