COONS -- Col. George F. Coons, 79, Ret. USAF, and a resident of Corrales since 1980, died on September 20, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Lydia Coons of Corrales; two daughters, Alison Coons of Corrales and Carol Coons of Albuquerque; one son, George M. Coons of Corrales; three grandchildren, Kadina Adkins, Kevin Adkins and Miranda Ogden. George served his country for 38 years in the United States Air Force.
