YBARRA -- Amadeo YBarra, a lifetime resident of Harding County, entered into eternal rest on September 13, 2004 surrounded by his family and friends, following an extended illness. Amadeo was born on the 18th of March 1926 in Mills, NM. He was a WWII Veteran, a member of American Legion Post 63, and a long time parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church in Roy, NM. He retired from the Ameri-Gas CO2 plant in Solano, NM in 1983 where he served as Plant Maintenance Supervisor for 30 years. Amadeo is preceded in death by his parents, Baltazar and Navorcita YBarra of Mills, NM; son, Johnny YBarra; brothers, Tony YBarra, Ben YBarra, and Agapito YBarra; sister, Carmelita YBarra; and sons-in-law, Julian Cordova and Ernest Gutierrez. He is survived by his beloved wife, Nadine YBarra of the family home in Roy, NM. Daughters: Mary Alice Arellano and husband Ernie of Springer, NM; Janet Bencomo and husband Benjamin of Roy, NM; Ruby Gutierrez and boyfriend Jesse Pacheco of Roy, NM and Vickie Cordova and husband Rudy of Springer, NM. One son, Tomas YBarra and wife Juanita of Springer, NM. Grandchildren: Johnny and Delenia Arias, Leonard and Sara Arias, Amadeo and Debra Soto, Juan Gillette, Tina Gillette, Crystal Arellano, Chris Torres, Robert Arellano, Eddie and Lisa DeHerrera, Benji Bencomo, Dean and Shirley Gutierrez, Regina Gutierez and fiance Jason Baca, Adam and Lisa Cordova, Audrey Cordova and Jessica Baker, Anthony Cordova, Sonny YBarra, Tomas YBarra Jr.; great-grandchildren: Angelique Arias, Johnny Arias Jr., Leonard Arias Jr., Alicia Arias, Craig Jordan Gutierrez, Hannah Gutierrez, Kylie Cordova and Isaac Cordova; One great great grandchild, Jaron Eppler. Amadeo is also survived by his brothers, Gilbert YBarra, Rudy YBarra, Frank DeHerrera and Juanito DeHerrera; sisters: Mary Montoya, Lila DeHerrera, Betty Romero, Del Esquibel and Rose Casias as well an numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday September 16, 2004 at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Roy, NM. Father Gary Brito will celebrate the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Friday Sept, 17, 2004 also at Holy Family Church. Interment will follow the Mass at the Roy Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Arias Sr., Leonard Arias Sr., Adam Cordova, Amadeo Soto, Dean Gutierrez, Sonny YBarra, Benji Bencomo, Juan Gillette, Craig Eppler, Anthony Cordova, Thomas YBarra Jr., Chris Torres and Robert Arellano. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Arias Jr., Leonard Arias Jr., Isaac Cordova, Michael Rodriguez, Jordan Gutierrez and Jaron Eppler.
