KERSCHION -- Julie Kerschion of Sandia Park, NM, went home to her father Wednesday, September 1, 2004. She was born in Culver City, CA on November 12, 1936. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Louis E. Kerschion; stepchildren, Louis Richard Kerschion, Charmaine Ann Kerschion, and Guy Jon Kerschion; aunt, Lucille Brownlee; cousins, Byron Brownlee, James Miller, Ethyl Miller (formerly Batchelor), Grace Batchelor, Ben Tipke, Joy Tipke, and Linda (formerly) Tipke, all of Spokane, WA. She was preceded in death by her father, James Donald Reed; mother, Sunny Mary Fitch; sister, Sunny Rose; brother, Harry Reed; and Joy Reed. Julie began her career in nursing at Witworth College in Spokane, WA. She later moved to Los Angeles, CA and worked in banking at Lincoln Savings and Loan. She later moved to Albuquerque and became a real estate office secretary. She later became an engraver for a local trophy firm. Julie retired with her husband and became a published poet with three National Silver awards from the World of Poetry Press. Julie lived and loved in the East Mountain area of Albuquerque studying the bible daily and enjoying her dogs, cats, birds and all creation amidst spectacular mountain views in all directions.
