NIXON -- Harold Bryan Nixon passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2004 in Albuquerque at the age of 75 after a long illness. He was born December 10, 1928 in Erath County, TX to Ora and Clyde Nixon. After graduating from Dublin High School, Harold attended Tarleton College. He served in the Army from 1950-1952. On January 16, 1960, Harold married Jackie Herrin in Ft. Worth, TX and they shared 42 years together. Jackie and Harold lived in Las Cruces, NM after their marriage. Harold owned and operated Consolidated Amusement Co. for many years as well as Tommy's Roller Rink. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie; as well as his father, Clyde; and his mother, Ora. Harold is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Mike Provine of Albuquerque. He will be missed by family and friends. A memorial service will be held at Harrell Funeral Home in Dublin, TX, Saturday, September 4, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. French Mortuary 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW (505) 897-0300
