EHRET -- Mary Ruth Ehret, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1940, went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 26, 2004. Born July 24, 1925 at Gorman, TX to Carlos and Karen Moorman. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bill Ehret; son, Bob Ehret, both of Albuquerque; stepson, David Ehret and wife, Maye of Lubbock, TX; granddaughter, Jami Rosas and husband, Josh; and great-granddaughter, Jade Rosas, all of Albuquerque. Bill and Mary were married December 31, 1946 at the Longhorn Ranch East of Moriarty. Mary retired from Sandia Base. She came to New Mexico to work at Otto Airport as a weather and radio operator before it was terminated. Mrs. Ehret was a member of the Eastern Star. She was a lifetime member of the Board of the Moriarty Schools. She was at a great nursing home, Valle Norte and had wonderful care. Mrs. Ehret had Alzheimer's the last five years. Services will be held Monday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. NE, Sunday, 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 8100 Mountain Rd.
