SANCHEZ -- Mr. Regino M. Sanchez Jr., 75, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on August 18, 2004. Mr. Sanchez is the beloved father to, Clara Lopez and husband, Delbert, Veronica Medina and husband, William, Josie S. Quintana and husband, Gilbert, Raymond Sanchez and wife, Barbara, Elizabeth Dees de Sanchez and husband, David. Mr. Sanchez is also survived by two sisters, Sally Arriola and Theresa Montoya; one brother, Howard Sanchez and wife, Eleanor ( Nori ); 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; several sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Sanchez was preceded in death by his wife, Viola, a son, Nicholas and a brother, Mike. Mr. Sanchez was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation for Mr. Sanchez will be Sunday afternoon from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. A final visitation will be Monday morning from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebated at 11:00 a.m. by Father Roberto Fenzl. Interment will follow at Fairview Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Raymond Sanchez, Roman Quintana, Art Lopez, Nick Medina, Chris Lague and Matthew Manning. Honorary pallbearers will be Shane, Jericho and Clyde Mascarenas, Jeremiah Manning, Travis and Andrew Lopez, Tyler, Jordan and R. J. Quintana, Shawn Maestas and Christian Lague.
