PURCELL -- Francis Henry Purcell, 73, always a gentleman and whose family always came first, died Friday, August 20, 2004. He was a resident of Albuquerque for 24 years. Mr. Purcell is survived by his wife, Audrey Purcell of Albuquerque; daughters, Elyse Deaver and husband, MSgt. Clarence Deaver, Jr. of Dover, DE and Karen Purcell of Albuquerque; three grandchildren, Tarah Purcell of Albuquerque, Corey Deaver and Kirsten Deaver, both of Dover, DE and great- granddaughter, Kaylee Purcell of Albuquerque. Mr. Purcell was originally from Brooklyn, NY and moved to Albuquerque in the early 1980's. He retired from AT&T in June of 1999 where he had worked for 47 years. Mr. Purcell was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served in Korea. He was an honorable man and was an outstanding husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Friends may visit Sunday, August 22, 2004 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at French Mortuary prior to services being held Sunday at 4:00 p.m. with Chaplain Col. Lemuel M. Boyles, USAF (Ret.) officiating.
