THAXTON -- Ruby D. Thaxton, 77, a resident of Albuquerque since 1949, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2004. She is survived by her cousins, Michael Clauson and husband, Keith, and Heinz Otto Backhus and wife, Herma all of Pennsylvania; and adopted family, Ed and Bertie Matheny and family of Albuquerque. Ruby was a business owner as well as member of the Electronics Representatives Association. She was also a longtime member of the Daughters of the Nile. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2004, 2:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE with Rev. Tom Salmon officiating.
