LOEMKER -- Lois A. Loemker, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on July 23, 2004. She was born on July 26, 1932 in Norborne, Missouri to Rudolph and Louise Schifferdecker. Lois came to New Mexico with her husband in 1956 and had lived in Corrales since 1972. She graduated Kappa Delta Phi with a degree in Elementary Education from Central Missouri State University. Lois was very involved in and a devout member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Albuquerque. She enjoyed spending her time in the garden, canning, and baking delicious treats for her family. Lois was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Gerald and Arnold Schifferdecker. She is survived by her cherished husband, Herbert; her loving children, Vickie (John) Zubiade, Randall (Carol) Loemker, Rhonda (Scott) Jones, Grant (Karen) Loemker; brothers, Charles and James; sister, Marguerite (Ruthie); and her precious grandchildren, John Michael, David (Robie), Amanda, Leah, Lucas, Rebecca, Jonathan; and a host of loving friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2004 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Sunrise Funeral Options, 2400 Southern Blvd. in Rio Rancho. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 30, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 300 Gold Ave. SE, with Pastor Randy Walquist as officiant. Private family interment will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Lutheran World Relief, P.O.
