LOPEZ -- Julio Lopez, 89, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, died Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at 2:30 a.m. He was born in Taos, raised in Dawson, NM and worked in the coal mines. A veteran, he proudly served his country in World War II. He began a career as a professional barber in San Francisco in 1954 and continued barbering in Albuquerque up to his retirement. He is survived by his daughter, Julie Jeanne Buckenmeyer, her husband, Frank; their two children, Nicole and Frankie; two great-grandchildren, Lyle-Ray Lindahl and Angel Julio Lopez; his sister, Rosie Ragni; brother, Edward Lopez and his wife, Emily; numerous nieces and nephews; and friends who loved him at Heights Manor Care. He was preceded in death by his son, Ray Lopez; and granddaughter, Sylvia Lopez; his parents, Frances B. Lopez, Pedro Lopez; his sisters, Amelia Garcia and Clorinda Lopez; and brother, Leroy Lopez. A wake service will be held Thursday, July 22, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors. Funeral Mass will be held at Mt.
