RODRIGUEZ -- Carolyn F. Rodriguez, 54, passed away unexpectedly in her home Monday, July 5, 2004. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Albert Rodriguez of Albuquerque; daughters, Charlene Fletcher and husband, Kevin and Lara Swanson and husband, Tony; sons, Dwayne Atkinson, Erick Rodriguez and fiancee, Victoria Leftwich; three grandchildren, Desiree, Adam and Anthony; mother, Florence E. Wicke; brothers, Tommy Houser and wife, Roylene and Jerry Houser and wife, Connie; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Thomas Houser and grandson, Robert Dean Atkinson. Born October 19, 1949, in Norristown, Pennsylvania and moved to Albuquerque with her parents as a child. She had worked at La Vida Llena Retirement Center for the past 12 years of her life, in which many of the residents and coworkers became part of her family.
