ARNOLD -- Barry A. Arnold, 48, a resident of Albuquerque for the past eight years, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Mitzie Arnold of Laguna, NM; daughters, Kristie Fleming and husband, Russ of Coeburn, VA, and Stacie Abeita and husband, Marvin of Isleta, NM; son, Austin Arnold of Laguna, NM; five grandchildren and one that is expected; mother, Jeanette Arnold of Rio Rancho, NM; father, John Arnold and wife, Mildred of Fairfax, VA; sisters, Carmen Arnold of Reston, VA, and Pamela Parsons of Melbourne, FL; and five nephews. Barry was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Arnold in 1987. He is a retired US Navy Senior Chief of the submarine service. Following his retirement from the US Navy in 1996, he went to work for Intel Corporation of Rio Rancho, NM. Graveside services will be held Monday, July 12, 2004, 2:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, on Sunday, July 11, 2004 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas NE, 87110.
