GOWING -- Lois Gowing, 88, passed away on July 5, 2004. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 12, 1915 and raised her family in Michigan, then moved to Albuquerque in 1967. She is preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Gowing. She is survived by her children, Jay Gowing, Jill Mocho and Sherry Anderson; eight grandchildren, Bruce and Brent Bergeron, Syndra Costa, Jill Putnam, Jeff Mocho, Sarah Stevens, Becky VanDerEeken, and Jason Gowing; six great-grandchildren, Francesca Costa, Garrett and Olivia Stevens, Melissa and Allen Bergeron, and Andrea Lowry. She was a proud Republican lady who will be dearly missed by her family. Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2004 at Chapel of Sunrise, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating.
