MARKS -- Warren K. Marks, 72, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2004, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lela; daughter, Susan Miller and husband, Bobby; son, Keith Marks, and wife, Amy; sister, Marion Deveney, and husband, Joseph, all of Albuquerque; brother, Bruce Marks and wife, Almeda, of Wichita, KS; and many nieces and nephews as well as close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Warren served with the U.S. Navy as a Photographer's Mate during the Korean conflict. He graduated from Albuquerque High School and attended the University of New Mexico. After retiring from his own business in tools and maintenance equipment, he managed an indoor soccer facility, then pursued a life-long interest in medicine by becoming an EMT. Warren's sense of humor will be missed. He loved to read, tease and watch sporting events. He coached soccer and volunteered in various capacities for his kids soccer, softball, volleyball teams and scout troop. He had a good ear for music and, as a younger man, was quite a talented artist. Warren loved his Savior deeply and was ready to go home to be with Him. A memorial service will be held at Calvary Chapel of Albuquerque (4001 Osuna NE) on Thursday, July 8, 2004, at 9:00 a.m. with pastor Bob Church as officiant. Cremation has taken place and Warren will be laid to rest at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Calvary Chapel Global Adventures, the Animal Humane Association, or the charity of your choice. Arrangements under the care of: Sunrise Funeral Options 2400 Southern Blvd. Rio Rancho, NM (505)891-9292
