WALLACE -- Joe Wayne Wallace, 54, of Las Cruces, died Thursday, June 17, 2004. He was born January 27, 1950 in Tucumcari, NM. Joe was owner and operator of Wallace Construction, an ovid outdoorsman, farmer, gardener and fishmerman who will be deeply missed by his family and friends who knew and loved him. He is survived by four children, Shane and Kristy Wallace of Albuquerque, NM, Casey and Tammy Joe Wallace of Las Cruces; parents, Ed and Wanda Wallace of Las Cruces; brothers, Robert Wallace and compaion, Gail Christianson of Albuquerque, NM; Lynn Wallace of Nevada, Russell Wallace and wife, Kerry Ann of Las Cruces; nieces and nephews, Zachary and Audrey Wallace of Albuquerque, NM, Jack and Ryan Wallace of Arkansas, Jed and Justin Bowers of Tennessee and many cousins. Funeral Services for Joe will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church with Rev. Gorton Smith and Rev. Loyd Cain officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe's cousins and nephews.
