MARTINEZ-BACA -- Cynthia C. Martinez Baca, born November 14, 1959 went home to be with the Lord her Savior on June 4, 2004. Cynthia loved the Lord very much and always shared that love and kindness with all her family, friends and everyone she came across. The Lord blessed her with a gentle and caring spirit. Cynthia will be dearly and greatly missed. We love you Cynthia, as you rest in the loving arms of Our Lord Jesus. Cynthia is survived by her two daughters, Tanya Renee Leyba and Angela Lynette Baca, and her parents Charlie and Cristela Martinez. She is preceded in death in April by per paternal grandmother Adela A. Martinez, also her two brothers, Chris C. Martinez and Mario D. Martinez, a nephew Christopher A. Martinez, paternal grandfather Crescencio Martinez, maternal grandparents Ricardo and Teresita Madrid, two uncles Alfred Martinez and Bonifacio Madrid and one aunt Barbara Madrid. She is also survived by two sisters, Joanna Decker and her husband Pete, Sandra L. Griego and her husband Freddie, one brother Michael A. Martinez and his wife Rebecca and a brother-in-law Johnny Barela, one aunt, Lupe Torrez, one uncle Eddie Madrid and his wife Yolonda, four nieces, Cristela, Malisa, Lorraine and Anna, seven nephews, Johnny Ray, Alfred, Charlie, Eugene, Adrian, T.J. and Gabriel, eleven grand nieces and nephews and several cousins. Cynthia was a 1978 Cibola High School graduate. Pallbearers will be Johnny Ray Barela, Alfred M. Griego, Gabriel J. Hernandez, Robert A. Jaramillo, Chris W. Davis and Johnny Barela. Honorary pallbearers will be Eugene Martinez, Adrian M. Martinez and Charlie L. Griego. Visitation will be Monday, June 7, 1:00 till 3:00 PM at Sunrise Funeral Options, 7601 Wyoming Blvd., NE, Albuquerque, 821-0010. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM at Nativity of The Blessed Virgin Mary. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at 9:00 AM also at the church.
