GREEN -- Aileen Katherine Green, age 56, and longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2004 at the time of her passing she was residing in Carefree, Arizona with her husband, Michael. Aileen was born in Albuquerque on June 12, 1947 where she enjoyed her childhood and early adulthood. She is survived by her husband, Michael, of 24 years; her father, James Thompson of Tucson; and her sister, Christine. Aileen was preceded in passing by her mother, Dorothy Thompson. Aileen was an extremely caring, energetic and fun loving person who enjoyed riding her new Harley. She also enjoyed interior design and landscaping which showed everywhere upon entering her beautiful home in Carefree. Aileen loved all animals and enjoyed the companionship of her schnauzer, Mr. Gus and her desert tortoise, Turdette. Aileen was a very special person and she will be greatly missed by all of her many friends and family, who span over several states. Because of her love for all animals, a fund has been established at the National Wildlife Federation [11100 Wildlife Center Dr., Reston, Va. 20190] where donations can be made in her name.
