THOMPSON -- Ruth Miles Thompson, 93, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 24, 2004. She was born Friday, February 10, 1911 in Barclay, KS to George Miles and Emma Ann Moore Miles. She had 3 sisters and 3 brothers. She married Harry Galen Thompson on August 17, 1938. She is survived by her son, George Thompson and wife, Judy, of Belen NM; brother, William Miles and wife, Marie, of Osage City KS; sister, Dorothy Kleine and husband, Ken of Evansville, WY; granddaughters, Jenny Thompson and Margaret Henderson and husband, Bill, and two great- grandchildren, Katelynn Henderson and Samantha Henderson, all of Albuquerque and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry G. Thompson in 1998 and her daughter-in- law, JoAnn Thompson in 1992. Services will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2004, 1:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens. Friends may visit at French Mortuary from twelve o'clock noon to time of service.
