Mrs. Terry was born September 5, 1914 in Dexter, New Mexico; the daughter of Roger Henry Durand and Olive (Harshey) Durand. On Oct. 12, 1947 she was married to J.J. (Judal) Terry in Artesia, NM. She was a Lifelong Area Resident. He preceded her in death Jan. 11, 1982. She served in the Waves during WW II. She was a Homemaker - also Secretary for Guy Chevrolet - She and her husband farmed in the Cottonwood Area for many years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, served as church Treasurer for several years, PEO Chapter 3, and Bridge Club . Survivors include Sister-in-Law: Tommie Terry Burnett and husband Clyde of Roswell, NM Numerous Nieces and Nephews including: William 3. Gray and wife LaNette of Artesia, NM Cousins: Abbie Pearson Jeter and husband Glen of Albuquerque, NM Earlene Durand Smith of Dexter, NM Joe Davis Durand and wife Martha of Dexter, NM Eileen Druand of Albuquerque, NM Clarence Harshey and wife Judy of Hagerman, NM Lloyd Harshey and wife Adeline of Alamogordo, NM.
