KRUM -- Adele Elizabeth Krum, 91, a resident of New Mexico, died Friday, May 14, 2004 after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband of 721/2half years, Bill Krum, Sr. of Albuquerque; daughter, Aciel Brown and husband Gerald G. of Albuquerque; Son, Bill Krum, Jr. and wife Mary of Albuquerque; Grandchildren, Marcy Louton and husband Daniel; Billie Jo Terrell and husband Lt. Col Patrick; and Mathew B. Krum and wife Diane. Great grandchildren Amber Louton, Brittany Jake and husband Clifford, Christopher Louton, Benjamin Louton, Shane Louton, Julie Terrell, Scott Terrell, Elizabeth Terrell, Ashlyn Krum and one great great grandchild Chloe Jake. Mrs. Krum was preceded in death by her brothers Randolph and Curtis Kleintop and sister LaRue Sharkazy. Adele and Bill graduated from Slatington High School in 1929 and were married October 24, 1931. They moved to Norristown, PA and in 1933 moved to Reading, PA where Adele reared her family. She devoted her life to her family and home. In Reading, she and Bill were active in Calvary Reformed Church where they organized a youth center and when Bill formed a Sunday school orchestra, Adele learned to play the bass viol so she could be part of the group. She also played the bass and piano in the Krum family quartet. Adele and her family moved to Albuquerque in 1955. In later years, Adele and Bill enjoyed ballroom dancing and a highlight was their Love Boat cruise to Alaska with the Jack Morgan Orchestra. Services will be held Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church 211 Jefferson N.E. Albuquerque, NM, with Pastor Patricia Green officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be: Mathew Krum, Daniel Louton, Christopher Louton, Benjamin Louton, Shane Louton, and Greg Robertson. Honorary pallbearers will be: Gerald G. Brown, Lt. Col Patrick Terrell, Scott Terrell, Col Harold Fjeseth (Ret.), Joel Lackey and Jack Morgan.
