GONZALES -- Chonita Gonzales, 83, a resident of San Antonito died Wednesday, May 12, 2004. She is survived by her children, Jesse and wife, Sandra, Velma and husband Mike, Florival Jr, Miguel, Ruben and wife Dianne, Melvin and wife Gabi, Chris and wife Janet, John and wife Joanna; 28 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; brothers, Manuel and Orlando; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Florival; sons, Artie and Roger; daughters, Josie and LaLa. She was born in San Antonio, NM and lived her life in San Antonito, NM. She was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her greatest days were with her family and friends. She had a great love for her special occasion cards that she received, they were cherished for weeks. Rosary will be recited on Friday, May 14, 2004 at 7:00 p.m at San Antonito Mission Church, N-HWY 14. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 15, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at San Antonito Church, N-HWY 14.
