PACHECO -- Carlos F. Pacheco, our beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Friend was called home to his Lord on May 9, 2004. He was born on April 14, 1921 to Amandeo D. Pacheco, Sr. and Ane Calderon Pacheco. He was raised in Las Vegas NM where he received his early education. He met his wife Carrie and Married in 1941. He entered the service during WWII, returned and resided in Albuquerque since 1946, and was blessed with a daughter, Olivia. Carlos worked for many years in retail and financial businesses. After retiring he proceeded to fulfill a lifetime goal of obtaining a higher education degree at the University of New Mexico. He served as an elder at Second Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque as well as Treasurer for many years. During his younger years he was a member of the local Shrine organization and participated in the clown unit. Carlos is survived by his Wife Carrie of 63 years, Daughter Olivia Higgins and son-in-law Craig Higgins, Brother Mayo Pacheco and wife Sadie, Sister Elvira Pacheco, Grandchildren Laura Garcia, Matt Higgins, Keith Higgins and 2 Great-grandchildren Derrick Garcia and Alexsis Whatley. He is also survived by 3 very special family friends Kim Keinz, Eduardo Sanchez (Lalo) and Jennifer Raquella Gauthier. Arrangements are being conducted by Riverside Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Wednesday May 12, 2004 in the Chapel at Riverside Funeral Home with a prayer service that evening at 7 pm. Services will be held at Cristo Del Valle Presbyterian Church at 3907 Isleta Blvd. SW on Thursday May 13, 2004 at 10am. Services will be conducted by Minister Verle Johnson; Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
