GRAMMER -- Marcus L. Grammer, 86, a resident of Albuquerque since 1957, died Saturday, May 8, 2004. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Doris C. Grammer of Albuquerque; daughter, Jean Grey and husband, Ed of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Stephane Summers and husband, Chris of Ft.Worth, TX and Heather Horn and husband, Russ of Lubbock, TX; great-grandson, James Summers; great-granddaughters, Rylee Horn and Avery Horn; and nieces and nephews. Marcus served in the US Army during WWII in the South Pacific and also served in the Texas National Guard. He worked as an auto mechanic until retirement. Marcus was a longtime member of the Church of Christ worshipping at Montgomery Church for the past 32 years. Services will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2004, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will take place at 1:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Albuquerque Christian Children's Home, 5700 Winter Haven Rd.
