MARLEY -- Frieda Marley, 89, passed away March 28, 2004 of natural causes at the home of her son, Melvin in Moreno Valley, California. Burial was at the Riverside National Cemetery. Frieda was born January 14, 1915 in Haxton, Colorado. She moved to Albuquerque in 1983 to be near her daughter, Delphine after the death of her husband, Emery. Frieda is survived by her daughter, Delphine Stephenson of Albuquerque, NM; sons, Chester Bennett, Arcadia CA, Melvin Bennett, Moreno Valley CA, and Larry Marley of Brownsburg IN; brother, Ernest Fillenberg Denver CO; sisters, Erna Hammond, Mona Esa, and Gertrude Reedy, all of Aurora, CO; 13 grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren; and three great-great- grandchildren. Frieda's last residence in Albuquerque was at Carestone Assisted Living. She moved to California in July of 2001 to be cared for by two of her sons and her daughter- in- law, Jo Anne Bennett. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Calvary Temple of Riverside, 1224 Main St., Riverside CA, 92501-1818.
