HOLMES -- Frances K. Holmes passed away on Monday, March 22, 2004. Frances was born on October 16, 1917, to the Reverend and Mrs. Frank Kraft, an Episcopal minister. Most of Fran's childhood and college years were spent in Wyoming. In 1948, she moved to Albuquerque where she met and married the love of her life, Willard Holmes, who died in 1991. Her dear sister Jeanne also predeceased her. Fran was well known and loved as an exceptional seamstress, a loyal employee of Sears, and a loving friend. She was a member of St. Marks on the Mesa Episcopal Church. Frances is survived by her beloved brother, Conrad L. Kraft, Ph.D., of Belleview, Washington; nephew Fenton W. Kraft; and niece Terri L. Jones, both of Washington State. She will be sorely missed by her family and by her friends. Interment will be at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe.
