GUTIERREZ -- Inez Trujillo Gutierrez, age 90, died on Monday March 22, 2004 at the Good Samaritan Village in Socorro, NM. She was born June 25, 1913 to Pablo and Eduvijen (Lopez) Trujillo in Aragon, NM. She is preceded in death by her husband, Martin Gutierrez in 1993. She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Jennings and husband, Gary of Yakima, WA; grandchildren: Joshua, Megan and Phillip, all of Yakima, WA; her brother, Jose L. Trujillo of Cruzville, NM; and many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to all the caregivers of Helping Hands, the nurses and staff of Socorro General Hospital and Good Samaritan Village who provided her with treatment and loving care and tireless dedication. Also a very special thanks to her caring friends at Vista Montano apartments and her nieces, Alicia, Adela, Margie and Sue whom she considered her guardian angels. A very special thanks to her nephew and Godson, Pat Gutierrez who was constantly at her side and whom she considered as her son. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. at San Miguel Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at San Miguel with Father John C. Daniel as Celebrant. Burial will be in the Datil Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Ben Gutierrez, Juan Gutierrez, Alicia Martinez, Adela Gutierrez, Margie Gutierrez and Michael Gutierrez. Honorary Pallbearers are: Damacio Gutierrez, Valentin Trujillo, Ray Martinez, Ramon Gutierrez, Pablo Rael and Isabel Madril. Arrangements are under the care of Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, 309 Garfield, Socorro, NM.
