RUCKMAN -- James "Jim" S. Ruckman, age 68, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2004. He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma Fogerson. James retired from PNM after 30 years of service. He was a kind man with a gentle heart. James is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Gomez-Ruckman; son, Kurt Ruckman and wife, Mary; grandchildren, Rachel and Ryan of Albuquerque; step-daughter, Denise Avila and husband, Joseph and their children, Joshua, Jovien and Jesse; sisters-in-law, Gloria Gomez, and Connie Wright and husband George; brother-in-law, David Gomez and wife Ruth; as well as many other family members and friends. Honorary pallbearers are his great friends, George Gentry, Donald Runer, Michael Lindsey and Rusty York. Visitation will begin on Sunday, March 21, 2004, 6:00 p.m. where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Berardinelli Family Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 22, 2004, 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Cathedral. Interment will follow at Rosario Cemetery.
