HEFFENGER -- Nicole (Nikki) Renai Heffenger. Early on February 22, 2004 our daughter, Nikki, took her final bow. Left to mourn her passing are her sister, Tiffany; brothers, Jacob and Caleb; mother, Renai Volz; father, Steve Heffenger; stepmother, Diana Heffenger; grandfather, Merle Volz; and grandmother, Beverly Volz. She was predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Felice Heffenger; daughter, Delphina; and most recently paternal grandfather, Arthur Heffenger. Nikki was loved and will be dearly missed by a devoted circle of parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Born in Albuquerque, Nikki was ever the incurable romantic. She was born with a natural curiosity and lust for life and exuberance for the arts. She especially enjoyed painting, writing poetry and was absolutely a fan of the cinema. During her brief life she managed to befriend many starting in Corrales, NM, Berlin, Germany, the North and South valleys of Albuquerque, Minneapolis, MN, Las Vegas, NV and most recently Mountainair, NM. Her most recent aspiration was to help build a BMW service business in Mountainair, NM. Nikki will always be remembered for her fearless passion to dream and live life to reach toward those dreams. A Celebration of her life will be held at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith, NW on Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. All are invited for a viewing Monday, March 1, 2004 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Direct Funeral Service, 2919 4th St. NW.
