MARES -- Beatriz D. Mares of Albuquerque passed into eternal grace on Tuesday, February 17,2004 surrounded by her family. She was born in Puerta de Luna, NM to Willie and Pelagia Delgado. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Carmel Mares; and a daughter, Cecilia Mares. Also surviving are her sisters Cris O'Grady and husband, Barry, of Rio Rancho; Maria E. Delgado of Munds Park, AZ; brothers Willie Delgado and wife, Yvonne; Alfredo Delgado and wife, Ana; Phillip Delgado, all of Albuquerque; and many other family members. Bea was a registered nurse, graduate of St. Anthony's in Amarillo, TX. Her soft smile and good humor will be forever missed. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, February 20, 2004 at 7:00 PM at Sunrise Funeral Options, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE. A Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Annunciation Church on Saturday, February 21, 2004 at 8:30 a.m. Cremation will follow and Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date. Casket bearers will be her brothers Willie, Alfredo, and Phillip Delgado; nephews, Alfredo and Willie Delgado, Jr., and Troy Woison.
