OLGUIN -- Alfonso "Al" Olguin, 82, a resident of Los Alamos and formerly of Rio Rancho, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2004. Al was born March 3, 1922 the son of Clemente and Dora Armijo Olguin in Pryor, Colorado. He had worked for a steel company before retiring. Al came to New Mexico from Denver, Colorado. He was a member of the San Ysidro Catholic church in Corrales, the Imaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, and a member of the VFW and American Legion. Al was preceded in death by two brothers, Candello and Richard; one sister, Lola, and one daughter, Laurie. He is survived by his wife Mary Agnes; daughter Janis Gallegos and husband Floyd; two granddaughters, Laurie Gallegos and husband Vincent Maricano, and Lana Kelt and husband William; three great-grandchildren, Aletta, Vincent, and Ethan. The Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2004 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM with the Service at 11:30 AM in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho with Deacon Frank Smith officiating.
