ROSE -- Barbara Rose passed away February 2, 2004. She has been a resident of Albuquerque since 1968, retired from Blue Cross and owned Barbara's Book Store on Juan Tabo. She was born February 2, 1934 in Stanberry, Missouri. On January 15, 1952 she married her only love, Ivan (Bill) Rose. As he was a career Army man, they lived several places in the U.S. and were in Germany twice. She is survived by her husband, Bill; son, Ken; and daughter, Stephanie Rose Saia and her husband, Josh; and her daughter, Jennifer Rose Richardson. She is also survived by three brothers, John, Gary and Lynn Ballard; and two sisters, Marilyn Drannan and Carolee Frakes, six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Doris Ballard; and two daughters, Peggy Rose Sahd and Cindy Rose. Memorial Services will be at the UNM Alumni Chapel on Saturday, February 7, 2004 at 8:30 a.m.
