ROSE -- Barbara Rose passed away February 2, 2004. She has been a resident of Albuquerque since 1968, retired from Blue Cross and owned Barbara's Book Store on Juan Tabo. She was born February 2, 1934 in Stanberry, Missouri. On January 15, 1952 she married her only love, Ivan (Bill) Rose. As he was a career Army man, they lived several places in the U.S. and were in Germany twice. She is survived by her husband Bill, son Ken and daughter Stephanie and her husband Josh and her daughter Jennifer. She is also survived by three brothers, John, Gary and Lynn Ballard and two sisters, Marilyn Drannan and Carolee Frakes, six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be at the UNM Alumni Chapel on Saturday, February 7 at 8:30 a.m.
