MUNDE -- Carmella Farrington Munde passed away February 2, 2004 in Albuquerque at the home of Ralph and Janet Youngberg. Carmella was preceded in death by her brother, Dr. Frank X. Marino. She is survived by her children, Janet Carmella Farrington Youngberg and husband, Ralph of Albuquerque, Nancy Farrington Higgins of Albuquerque, James C. Farrington III and wife, Janice of Estancia, NM; grandchildren, Leif and wife, Kathrin, Eric, Kristin, Madeline and husband, David, Susan, John, Jill, Pamela, Michael and wife, Teala, and Lisa and husband, Amarante; great-grandchildren, Austin, Emily, Benjamin and Preston; sister, Lily Carraro of Phoenix, AZ; and many beloved nieces, nephews and other relatives. Born in Chicago, IL in 1916, Carmella's family moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1962, earned her post-graduate degrees and worked as a reading specialist until her retirement. She returned to Albuquerque in 1990 to be near her family. She was a Silver Life Master in bridge, enjoyed ballroom dancing, and made the best leg of lamb ever. Private burial services will be held Friday, February 6, 2004 at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd. SE, Albuquerque, NM. Family and friends will gather for a celebration of her life at 1:00 p.m., Friday after the burial service.
