GEER -- Martha Geer, 65, passed away on January 23, 2004. Martha is survived by her loving daughters Tracy Sanchez, and Tammy Chavez and husband Albert both of Albuquerque. She is also survived by her mother Virginia Cowdrey of Las Cruces, brothers John Cowdrey and wife Kim of Las Cruces; Ron Cowdrey and wife Phyllis of Bosque Farms; four grandchildren Mark, Andrew, Nicole, and Aaron Otto; one Great Grandchild Christopher; and numerous nieces and nephews. Martha is preceded in death by her husband Otto. Martha is a life long resident of Albuquerque graduating from Albuquerque High School, she also attended Michael Reese School of Nursing in Chicago. Ms. Geer was retired from Presbyterian Hospital where she served in numerous capacities. Martha was a member of First Presbyterian Church. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 26, 2004 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. in Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
