HILL -- John H. Hill, Sr., 96, a long time resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, January 20, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Helen Hill of the home; daughter, Barbara Anderson and husband, John; grandchildren, Joan Newcomb and husband, Mark; Paul Anderson and wife, Anne all of Virginia; John Matthew and wife, Stacy of Illinois; and seven great-grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his son John, Jr. in 1997. He built many beautiful homes in Albuquerque. John was an active member of the Masonic Lodge, Ballut Abyad Shrine Temple, and a member of the Albuquerque Country Club. Memorial services will be held Saturday, 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel with Dr. Terry Anderson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Transportation Fund for Crippled Children, P.O. Box 8410, 87198 or to the First United Methodist Church, 314 Lead SW, 87102.
