VAOW -- Donna Jean Vaow, 65, a resident of Albuquerque for 37 years, born in Owego, NY on March 16, 1938, the youngest of 10 children, went home to be with Yahweh on January 19, 2004. Donna was married to her high school sweetheart, Deacon Richard Eugene Vaow Sr. for 48 years. She is survived by her five children, Valerie Burek and husband, TJ of Peralta, NM, Richard Vaow Jr. of Dillon, MT, Raymond Vaow and wife, Cheryl of Schenectady, NY, Robert Vaow and wife, Vickie of Frenchtown, MT, and Laura Edwards and husband, Ron of Rio Rancho, NM; six grandchildren, Robyn Undieme and husband, Jeff of Tulsa, OK, Dawn Hooten and husband, Thomas, Bobby Ortiz, Chris Ortiz of Rio Rancho, Lacey and LeAnne Vaow of Schenectady, NY; two great-grandchildren, Krystal and Thomas Hooten Jr. of Rio Rancho, NM; three sisters, Helen Tuttle of Binghamton, NY, Betty Temple of Owego, NY, and Ruth Bishop of Sayre, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Donna retired from Hosanna Ministries in Albuquerque, NM after 20 years of faithful service. Donna was a blessing to everyone who met her. Her love and kindness will always be remembered. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Yahweh's New Covenant Assembly, P.O. Box 50, Kingdom City, MO 65262. Memorial services to celebrate her life will be held Friday, January 23, 2004, 3:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Private interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
