JAMES -- Mavis James, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away peacefully at home on January 17, 2004. She was born on June 10, 1918 in Australia. Mavis was preceded in death by her husband, Larry C. James. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Liesse and husband James, and many others that will deeply miss her. Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
