APODACA -- Mrs. Abigail S. Apodaca, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Augustine Apodaca. She is survived by three sons, David Apodaca, Augustine Apodaca and wife, Rita and Richard Apodaca and wife, Vera; three sisters, Beatrice Beserra, Connie Padilla and Jenni Beserra; three grandchildren, Lisa Apodaca Roberts and husband, David, Aaron Apodaca and Linda Banks and husband, Charles; one great-grandson, Carlos Banks and wife, Valerie and one great-great-grandson, Zachary Banks. Mrs. Apodaca will be greatly missed by her loving family. Visitations will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Eighth Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Refreshments will be served following the Rosary in the Celebration of Life Room also at Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial is pending and will be announced. Burial will take place at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Banks, Carlos Beserra, Carlos Banks, Paul Padilla, Jimmy Sandoval and Robert Padilla. Honorary pallbearers will be Victor Beserra, Lisa Apodaca Roberts, Aaron Apodaca and Linda Banks. Funeral services are in the care of: Garcia Mortuary 717 Stover Ave. S.W. 243-5222
