PEARLMAN -- David H. Pearlman, a former Albuquerque attorney, died in a car accident on December 30, 2003 in Colorado Springs, CO. His wife, Carol, of Colorado Springs was injured. David was a 1969 graduate of the UNM Law School and practiced in Albuquerque until moving to Colorado Springs in 1995. Despite health problems that plagued him for 30 years, David managed to stay upbeat. "It never kept him down. He picked himself up and kept going. He was always positive," said his son, Gavin Pearlman. A memorial service is set for 1 p.m., Feb. 7, at Calvary Chapel Sanctuary, 4001 Osuna NE. It is hoped that his wife of 32 years, Carol, will be able to attend the service. A memorial fund has been set up at First State Bank. Survivors include his wife, Carol; three sons, David Pearlman of San Diego, Gavin Pearlman of Moriarty and Adam Pearlman of Portland, Ore.; and three grandchildren, Tianna Pearlman, Elijah Pearlman and Aidan Pearlman; his mother, Charlotte; a brother, Dr. Nathan Pearlman; and a sister, Gail Handelman.
