RAWDON -- Lonnie E. (Pete) Rawdon, 77, resident of Portal, AZ and Rodeo, NM left us to be with the Lord on January 10, 2004 at the Tucson Heart Hospital in Tucson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning, January 14, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at the Rodeo Community Center in Rodeo and the graveside service will be held Thursday, January 15, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the Magdalena Cemetery in Magdalena, NM. He was born September 15, 1926 in Stroud, OK to John Thomas Rawdon and Annabell Guin. During World War II he served in the U. S. Navy and lived in Portal for over 35 years where he worked for the forest service. Survivors include a sister, Voncielle Frazier, Scottsdale, AZ; and a brother, Paul Rawdon of Grants. His parents preceded him in death. Entrusted to the care of Baca's Funeral Chapels of Deming, 811 S. Gold Avenue. Phone 546-9671.
