CLAWSON -- Charles Leland Clawson passed away December 20, 2003. He was born in Albuquerque, but lived all of his life in Gallup, New Mexico. Charles enjoyed painting, fishing, hunting, and music. He retired from Gurley Motors, where he worked for over 30 years, in Gallup. Mr. Clawson was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Clawson and a son, David Clawson. He is survived by his sisters and brothers; Olive Vaughn, Albuquerque, Robert J. Clawson and wife, Dorothy, Granberry, Texas, Mary Loyns and husband, Melvin, El Paso, Texas and Frank Clawson and wife, Shirley, North Carolina.
