HOGUE -- Richard H. Hogue 47, lost his courageous battle with Leukemia on Thursday, December 4, 2003. He was born on November 6, 1956 in Denver, Colorado. He is survived by his mother Ellen Hogue; his four children, Michael, Nicholas, Melissa and Thomas Hogue; sister Lori Truster and husband Mathew; brother Thomas Hogue and wife Lori; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father John T. Hogue. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force receiving the rank of Staff Sergeant. At the time of his passing, he was employed by Paradise Village. Visitation will be held Monday, December 8, 2003 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors. Services will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2003 10:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors with the Reverend John Schwarting presiding. Final Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Wednesday, December 10, 2003. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. Ian Rubinowitz, Dr. Max Rubinowitz, UNM Cancer Center, Valle Norte Nursing Center, and Odyssey Hospice for everything they did to make Rick?s last days the most peaceful they could be.
